We are an online retailer based in Kalispell, Montana. We sell folding camping chairs, single chairs, double chairs, and three-person chairs, for people who spend time outside and want a seat that actually works.

The name Lunecalme comes from the French for calm moon, the kind of quiet, unhurried feeling we designed our chairs around, whether that is a slow evening by the fire or a quiet morning at the campsite.

We are not a manufacturer. We do not make chairs. We are a retailer that sources chairs from vetted suppliers, tests what we sell, and stands behind every order we ship.

Who We Are

APEXTRAIL DIGITAL LLC is a small team operating out of Kalispell, MT. We handle our own customer emails, returns, and product decisions. When you contact us, you are talking to a real person, not an outsourced support queue.

We started because shopping for outdoor chairs felt frustrating. Too many listings looked good online but disappointed in real use. Frames bent too easily. Fabric wore out too fast. Weight limits were unclear. We wanted to build a store focused on one category we actually understand and use ourselves.

That is why we keep our selection focused: single camping chairs, double camping chairs, and three-person camping chairs. Nothing else.

Who We Build This For

Most of our customers are not extreme outdoor athletes. They are people trying to solve a smaller, more specific problem.

Couples who camp together. A lot of double chairs are marketed as loveseats but still have a center frame or armrest that keeps two people apart instead of letting them sit close. If you have ever sat in one and felt like you were in two separate chairs pushed next to each other, that is exactly the gap we look for before we list a double chair.

Families with a dog who goes everywhere. Plenty of people are not buying a second seat for a second person, they are buying it so their dog has a spot too. We think about paw-friendly fabric, how easy it is to wipe off mud, and whether a chair actually has room for a person and a mid-size dog without either one hanging off the edge.

Parents at weekend sports games. Soccer and baseball sidelines are a bigger use case for folding chairs than most product pages admit. Sitting for one to three hours on hard ground, in and out of a car trunk every weekend, is a different kind of wear and tear than a once-a-year camping trip.

Taller or larger-bodied adults. A high weight capacity number does not tell you whether a chair actually fits. What matters more is real seat width, whether the armrests dig in, and whether the front edge of the seat presses into the back of your legs. We try to list actual seat dimensions, not just a capacity figure, so you can judge fit for yourself.

Older adults and anyone who wants an easier time standing up. A low, deep seat can feel relaxing to sit in and be genuinely hard to get out of. We note seat height on our product pages for this reason, since a chair that is comfortable to sink into is not always the right choice if getting back up easily matters more.

Tailgate, festival, and backyard groups. Cup holders, quick setup, and being easy to carry across a parking lot or a field matter as much as anything else in this scenario.

We partner with a small group of established outdoor furniture suppliers. Before carrying any product, we evaluate material quality, frame construction, stitching, durability, and quality control standards.

We Visit and Verify

We visit our supplier partners in person to see their product displays, structural design, and the range of available styles before we decide what to carry. Seeing a chair in a showroom, not just in a catalog photo, is part of how we decide which products meet our standards and which ones do not.

How We Decide What to Sell, and What We Turn Down

Not every chair we look at makes it onto the site. We pass on products that list a high weight capacity without any published seat width or seat depth, since a number alone does not tell a customer whether they will actually fit. We pass on frames that rely on thin single-wall tubing at stress points like the center hinge of a double chair, since that is where most folding chairs eventually fail. We also pass on listings that copy generic marketing claims without real measurements behind them, since that is the exact kind of vague, unverifiable listing we built this store to avoid.

What we look for instead: seat and frame dimensions that are specific rather than rounded up, fabric that is rated for repeated outdoor use rather than occasional indoor use, and a folding mechanism that a person can operate alone without tools.

If a product has real limitations, such as a low seat height that is harder to stand up from, or a weight capacity that is combined across two or three seats rather than per person, we say so directly on the product page instead of leaving it for the customer to find out after it arrives.

What We Sell

We focus on three categories of folding camping chairs.

Single Camping Chairs

Lightweight and easy to carry. Designed for one person and simple everyday outdoor use, camping trips, fishing, sports sidelines, backyard evenings, and travel.

Double Camping Chairs

Two seats built into one frame, typically around 55 to 56 inches wide. Suitable for couples, friends, or a parent and child sitting together. Most models support a combined weight capacity between 600 and 660 lbs across both seats.

3-Person Camping Chairs

Extra-wide seating around 75 inches wide with a combined weight capacity of up to 660 lbs depending on the model. Designed for families or groups who want shared seating while still folding into a single carry bag for transport.

But comfort does affect how long people actually stay outside. A supportive chair can make the difference between leaving early because your back hurts and staying longer because you are relaxed and comfortable.
